Pinocchio

Based on the traditional tale by Carlo Collodi, "Pinocchio" is brought to life in this exciting adventure.
Geppetto, the most famous puppet maker in Italy, has always dreamed about creating a very special puppet- one that could walk and talk without strings. When his lazy apprentice, Candlewick, finds a log of wood that can speak, work starts on it immediately!
"I knew a family of that name. There was Pinocchio, the Father, PinocchiA, the Mother; and Pinoc-I-I-I-I-I. all the little children. Yes, I'll call him Pinocchio!"
Unfortunately, Pinocchio is not the perfect puppet Geppetto has always wished for and is quick to disobey him. Candlewick first convinces Pinocchio to skip school, sell his spelling book and visit Mr. Fire-Eater's Puppet Theatre
Then, instead of returning home as promised to the Fire-Eater, Pinocchio goes with Mr. Fox and Mr. Cat (two thieving rascals) to the field of miracles to plant his five gold pieces.

We provide all equipment necessary to create a theatrical atmosphere within the school including set, costumes, props, lighting and sound.

"Your five gold pieces could grow into two thousand or more by tomorrow, if you came with us..."
Whilst resting up at the Red Crayfish Inn, Pinocchio meets a magical Cricket who tells him he is his conscience- the little voice inside that tells you to be good when you want to be naughty. He warns Pinocchio that Mr. Fox and Mr. Cat are scoundrels and he should return home right away, but Pinocchio doesn't listen....
As night draws in, Pinocchio is left to fend for himself despite several warnings from the Cricket. The Fox and Cat return, as bandits, and try to steal his money. He manages to outwit them and place his money in his mouth. They decide to tie him to a tree and wait for him to fall asleep so the money will fall out....
Luckily, before they can return in the morning, the Cricket appears and asks Pinocchio why he was tied up. Feeling embarrassed that the Cricket had been right, Pinocchio tells a series of lies each more outlandish than the last which has some major consequences....

"There are two types of lie Pinocchio. One has no legs to stand on and the other has a very loooooong nose!!"
-
Will Pinocchio's nose ever return normal?
-
Will his coins truly grow into a fortune?
-
Will he ever return home to his loving father Geppetto.... or will it be too late and he has been swallowed by a monster shark!
