Wizard William

Wizard William is an action packed comedy full of magic and intrigue. When Queen Guinevere asks to be turned into a Sugar Plum Fairy for the day, Morgana the Sorceress and her hapless apprentice William are called to perform the task, but the spell goes disastrously wrong and she ends up as a bag of sugar! The action becomes fast and furious as William tries to turn her back before King Arthur finds out. The intricate comic plot is further confused when William seeks advise from the 'Weird and Wonderful Wizard of Wot' and the 'Queen of Glass Mountain'.

The play has many opportunities for children to be involved from helping the King find his royal coach, to assisting William in his workshop, it is bound to be lots of fun!
Tchaikovsky's "The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" is used during the performance, along with the London Symphony Orchestra's "HOOKED ON CLASSICS" plus many other pieces of synthesised classical music, to add a contemporary flavour to this outrageously funny medieval comedy.

We provide all equipment necessary to create a theatrical atmosphere within the school including set, costumes, props, lighting and sound.
